About Us

A legacy of love, service, and sustainable change.

The Isaka Kaihura Foundation (IKF Uganda) was founded in memory of Isaac Newton Kaihura, a visionary whose life embodied compassion, service, and hope.

Registered as a nonprofit organization, IKF exists to transform lives and empower communities across Uganda through people-centred, sustainable development. We believe that every Ugandan regardless of where they live deserves dignity, opportunity, and the tools to thrive.

We provide free, quality education to children in rural communities going beyond academics to nurture critical thinking, leadership, and hope for a better tomorrow.

From mental health and sexual and reproductive health to clean water access and malaria prevention, our programs promote healing, dignity, and holistic community wellbeing.

Renewable Energy & Climate Action

We bring clean solar energy to homes, schools, and health centres empowering communities to live sustainably while protecting Uganda’s natural heritage.

Sports & Youth Empowerment

We harness the power of sports to nurture talent, build confidence, and create safe spaces where young people can grow, connect, and thrive.
